We don't want to shell out for a mid-tier gaming laptop (the acer) if we could get by with older CPU but adding RAM.Follow this guide to begin setting up your Form 3. We've tested the program on a few computers (Lenovo i3-8130uCPU/6GB, ASUS i5-5200u /8GB, Acer i7-9750/8GB) and have found that they progressively get better times on checking and uploading. Formlabs says the program requirements are only 4GB RAM and Win7+, but I'm assuming that's for the minimum, not necessarily for mid-level performance. (even for files it's already checked before), and uploading the file to the printer from the computer takes an eternity (we've had freezing and 15m+ wait times). We use a Formlabs Form2 in our lab, and have noticed that it consistently takes 5m+ for PreForm to check the model over for supports etc. Non-reddit communities are listed in our getting started guide We welcome community contributions to this wiki!
